You don’t need a YouTube channel to write with Neveshte. Channel setup is the quickest way to build your Creator DNA, but it isn’t the only one. You can write it yourself, start from the template library or learn it from someone else’s public video, and add your own channel whenever you’re ready.
Skip the channel at signup
On the Basic info step of your first login, choose I don’t have a channel yet. Onboarding skips Make it yours, the language and format questions, and goes on to About you, three quick questions that are all optional. Then your trial starts and Go to your dashboard takes you in. See Your first login.
Build your DNA another way
A script can use a profile, a voice and a template, all under DNA in the sidebar. None of them is required, but each one makes a draft more yours. Without a channel, fill them in one of three ways:
- By hand. Under Profiles, choose New profile and say who you are and who you make videos for. Under Voices, choose New voice and describe how you talk. See Edit your creator profile and Tune your voice.
- From the library. Under Templates, choose Browse the library and import the templates that fit the videos you plan to make. See Templates.
- From a public video. Paste a link to any public YouTube video you admire and import a profile, a voice, a template or ideas from it, for 5 credits each. See Learn from any public video.
A voice learned from someone else’s video is a starting point. Edit it until it sounds like you: your speaking speed, the phrases you’d actually say and the ones you’d never use.
Add your channel later
Once you’ve uploaded a few videos, open Channels under DNA and choose Add Channel. It asks the same two questions about language and format, then channel setup reads your videos and drafts a profile, a voice and starter templates next to the ones you already have. See Add or edit a channel.
Tip. Setup learns your voice from transcripts and from the videos it watches, so it learns most from videos where you talk. If your first uploads have little speech, keep editing your voice by hand.
